I think of this blog as my [public] theology journal. Thus, for the most part I share here about what I’m currently learning and reflecting on.

Jürgen Moltmann is my favorite theologian, obviously. Eschatology and theodicy are the two subjects I’m most fascinated by and interested in, thus you can expect that a lot of the posts here will deal with these very subjects.

My long term goal is to become an expert of sorts on Moltmann’s eschatological thought and vision. Of course I read him critically and in dialogue with other great theologians and biblical scholars. I’m not sure that Moltmann is the best theologian around (often times I think Pannenberg was better), but I am convinced that when it comes to the subjects of eschatology and theodicy Moltmann is the gold standard.

I am deeply grateful for everything I’ve learned through Moltmann’s works, and I look forward to sharing some of these things with you, my readership.

Thanks for dropping by, and I look forward to hearing from you as well!
